Scotts Valley turns 60! On August 2, 1966, Scotts Valley officially became its own city thanks to residents like Agnes Lewis who fought to preserve the town's character. Now, 60 years later, there's a week-long party and you're invited!
📅 Here's the full week of celebration:
🎉 Sunday, Aug 2 - FREE Birthday Celebration at Skypark, 10:30am–3pm
Opening with "Share Your Story" - share your 3-minute memories of Santa's Village, The Barn, the airport & more! Plus, live music from Vintage Point, history displays, crafts, food trucks, vintage vehicles, a Cavalcade stagecoach, and a pop-up skating rink in memory of The Rink.
☕ Monday, Aug 3 - Coffee with Legends at the Senior Center
🌙 Tuesday, Aug 4 - National Night Out at MacDorsa Park
🥾 Wednesday, Aug 5 - Guided hikes through Lodato Park & Glenwood Preserve
🏫 Thursday, Aug 6 - "I Love My School" as classes begin
🔎 Friday–Sunday, Aug 7–9 - Citywide Business Scavenger Hunt
