Chef Lalita is back in the Golden Roots Kitchen cooking up some of our favorite things. I met Lalita when Golden Roots and Hanloh were just business babies (now we have babies!) and have forged a deep friendship through all the challenges this crazy life has brought. We are so proud to feature her standout South Asian cuisine which has been recognized by L.A. Times as top 101 restaurants in California. We agree, her food has something special going on!

Next week Chef Lalita will be making Khao P**n, Laotian Red Curry Rice Noodle Soup and a GRK take on her beloved G*i Tod Hat Yai, Thai Fried Chicken. Since we’re all about health and nutrient density at Golden Roots, Chef Lalita will be frying in pure avocado oil and pairing with toasted brown jasmine rice in chicken broth. Get your orders for pick-up or delivery in by Thursday at noon!
