Update on OC! 🧡🐾
We think we’ve found him a home! He is set to be picked up within the next couple of hours, and we’re keeping our fingers crossed that this is his happily-ever-after. ❤️
A Little Orange Kitten Was Left at Our Farm 🧡🐾
This little guy showed up at our farm in the strangest and saddest way.
Tuesday morning around 8:30, someone pulled into our barn driveway. I saw them get out on the passenger side, and I caught a quick glimpse of an orange streak at the bottom of the vehicle. It looked like it may have been a child, but I really rcouldn’t see well enough to know for sure. They got back in the vehicle and drove away.
It was raining that morning, and I wasn’t quite sure what I had seen. I went out toward the barn, looked around, didn’t see anything, and honestly didn’t think much more about it.
Then later that evening, while I was outside picking green beans in the rain, I heard it…
Meow. Meow. Meow.
I looked under our shed and there he was. 🥺
A tiny little orange kitten, probably around 6–8 weeks old, hiding under the shed in the rain. He appears to be healthy, but he is understandably VERY scared and unsure of everything around him.
We got him some food, got him somewhere safe and dry, and we’ve been calling him OC — the Orange Cat. 🧡
He’s a sweet little boy, and although he’s friendly, he’s still very frightened and unsure of what is happening. I can’t imagine how confused he must be—being separated from his mom, his littermates, and everything familiar to him.
We’re now looking for a loving, safe, forever home for this little guy. He deserves so much better than being dropped off in a driveway and left to fend for himself.
If you or someone you know is looking for a kitten and could give this little orange guy the home he deserves, please reach out to me. ❤️
I’m going to try to get some better pictures of him tomorrow and will post those as well.
Let’s see if we can find OC his forever family! 🧡🐱
