We have an extra dozen plus of black, blue, and splash copper marans eggs available (getting 1-2 splash every hatch from the blues). These are not my ultra dark, but they’re moderate and all covered by my darkest 2 boys! These eggs are sitting between 7-10 days so they’re half off - or free if you buy a couple marans chicks to go with them!

Pick up will be today in Scottsburg IN at Bomgaars in town. I am available from 3p-8p tonight for pickup (And intermittent availability all morning/afternoon).

We usually eat our moderate eggs but I want to share these guys! Eggs should maintain current darkness or darken a bit from dad’s genetics.

FCFS- whoever can agree to come first- it’s yours.

——Silver Summer——

Meet our hybrid Olive Egger breed Silver Summers!

These beautiful babies are excellent olive/darker green highly speckled egg layers! Their eggs are gorgeous, their plumage is gorgeous, and they faithfully lay more than most of my flock (the pure silverrudds being my best layers).

Breed highlight Call Ducks:

We currently have blue bibbed, black bibbed, white, silver, snowy, pastel, and blue fawn adults.

We can’t wait for consistent warm weather so we can move out of our winter housing and back to our duck hutt! As much as the love this little winter wonderland, we are ready for the mess to go back outside!

Marans breed highlight:

Our BBS (black/blue/splash) Copper Marans just a few weeks ago before the snow melted and mud season set in on us! Here are some of their darker eggs. The splash lay the lightest, but that’s improving as well!

Call ducklings and a few other breeds hatching in Scottsburg IN. We have slowed down for the winter, but the call ducks kicked it in gear already!!
