Here's what's poppin at the Leota Popcorn Company.....

🌽💚 We did it — Popcorn Plant 2026 is in the books!

The final seed to hit the dirt on Sunday was our newest variety… EMERALD GREEN popcorn!

Green is my favorite color, so I’m basically doing a happy dance over here 💃🕺

Harris also planted his flowers right in front of the popcorn rows, and he’s over the moon waiting to watch them grow and silently reminding us why we do what we do. 🌼😊

Over the next two months, you’ll find us at the Scottsburg Farmer’s Market twice a month:

To celebrate, I told him he could pick any treat he wanted… candy, ice cream, a slushy — literally anything.

So what does this child of ours choose?

Microwave popcorn. 😂🍿

When you’re raised in a popcorn family, I guess the snack loyalty runs deep.

☕🧩 Sunday morning gratitude hitting hard today…

As I sit here sipping my coffee and working on my Mother’s Day puzzle, I can’t help but feel so thankful for the amazing day we had at The Corydon Extravaganza yesterday.

🌞🎪💛The sun was shining, people were out shopping, and we met so many new popcorn friends — the kind of day that fills your heart and your kettle at the same time 🍿🤝

✨Thank you to everyone who stopped by, said hi, supported small business, or just shared a smile. Days like that remind us why we love what we do 🧡🌽
