We are getting ready to start cold weather seeds this coming weekend. I planted almost an entire 4x8 bed with several varieties of garlic in the fall, and nearly all of it seems to have taken off well.

These lambs are ready for the rain to clear so they can get some sun and stretch their legs.

Lambing has officially started! Ingrid had a pair of twin ram lambs around 2:00 am this morning. She has been a great mom to them and must have had an easy birth because I checked her at 1:00, and when I went to check again closer to 3:00 they had already been up nursing and ready for a nap.

Idunn will be next and then we should have a break until April When the majority are due.

Ingrid and Idunn are starting to look like they could lamb at any time. We have been beginning to train them to the stand to hopefully make things easier when it comes time to start milking. Both girls had a good first day and were very patient letting me trim up some of their wool. I think they will both adapt to the new routine pretty quickly.

First litter of my small side project of Tri’s and pretty happy with this buck.

Everything born with tri/harli was a buck with normal fur. At least his personality makes up for it, he’s a ham.

Two Jr does I am watching grow out. They are 12 weeks today and showing a lot of promise. Crossing my fingers that the torte carries Rex fur.
