*Must be 21+ to Follow* Seven Arizona wineries with tasting rooms within walking distance in downtown have joined forces to launch the first-ever “Scottsdale Wine Trail.” This cooperative of wineries united to advance education and exposure for Arizona-produced wines and the growing wine industry statewide. The Scottsdale Wine Trail is a self-guided tour of: LDV Winery, Carlson Creek Vineyards, Aridus Wine Company, Arizona Stronghold, Los Milics, Wine Collective of Scottsdale, and Salvatore Vineyards. All of the wineries produce or represent award-winning wines that are available for tasting and purchase at unique tasting rooms and retail shops in the heart of Scottsdale. Spend the day or weekend experiencing downtown Scottsdale – great wine tasting, culinary delights, first-class lodging, diverse entertainment, art galleries, theaters, shopping, baseball, and museums. There is something for everyone.

Arizona w**e country sits at 32° north — the same latitude as the Sahara’s northern edge. On paper, that’s too hot for fine w**e.
But the vineyards in Willcox and Sonoita sit 4,000 to 5,000 feet up, where days build ripe fruit and cold desert nights lock in acidity. It’s the same trick that made Mendoza famous.
The result: ripe, fresh, structured w**es that have nothing to do with Phoenix heat. 🍷
