All of the wineries produce or represent award-winning wines that are available for tasting and purchase at unique tasting rooms and retail shops in the heart of Scottsdale. Your $5 gets you either three tastings or one glass. Select wines only.

Happy National Red Wine Day. 🍷

We asked six Scottsdale Wine Trail tasting rooms for one red worth talking about, then lined them up lightest to boldest so you can build your own crawl.

Start chilled with Carlson Creek’s Grenache de Soleil (yes, in the fridge, we’ll allow it), work through a textbook GSM at Wine Collective, land on desert-grown Malbec at Aridus, then let it get serious — Salvatore’s Aglianico blend, LDV’s brambly Petite Sirah, and finally Los Milics’ Tannat blend, which does not do subtle.

All six rooms are walkable in Old Town. Pick a starting point, take your time.
