In 1928 when a hybrid date fruit variety was discovered, founders planted a palm tree grove at the base of Camelback Mountain and named it Sphinx Date Ranch. Since the 1950s we've provided fresh date gifts and farm and artisan sourced local products to recipients around the world. REMINDER: Black Sphinx Dates are now available online!

In an unexpected twist, our local Black Sphinx Dates are first off the trees this year!
Thanks to a warm Spring in the Valley, we are starting to see early-harvested dates this year. As always, Black Sphinx Dates are available in limited quantities, with additional fruit arriving throughout the harvest as it becomes available.

Place your order now and we will ship on a first-come, first-served basis as more become available. Over the next few weeks, we expect to receive the new harvest of Medjool dates and other specialty varieties.

For Phoenix area customers, in-store pickup is available online. You will receive an email notification when your order is ready for pickup.

Our storefront hours are Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm.

🌿 A quick Farm Stand update!

As we head into date harvest season, we've decided to take a pause from our weekly Farm Stand at Sphinx Date Co. for now.

The good news: Farm Boxes from Rhiba Farms will still be delivered to Sphinx every Wednesday! 🥬🥕🌱 Pre-ordered boxes will continue to be available for pickup at our Scottsdale shop through the Rogue Rhino Garden Club.
