It’s the fifth annual AZ Wine & Dine festival, an upscale celebration of the region’s top resort restaurants, and it’s slated for 5 pm – 8 pm Thursday, April 7, at Scottsdale Quarter. Join award-winning chefs from 19 resort restaurants as they serve up the fare that has visitors flocking to Phoenix and Scottsdale from the furthest-reaching corners of the world. Each restaurant’s menu or dish will

be expertly pre-paired with a selected wine, giving guests a unique opportunity to sip and sample their way through the region’s premier resort restaurants without booking an overnight stay. Each year, tourists travel to Arizona’s world-class hotels and resorts to experience the flavor of our state’s celebrated chefs. But these destination-worthy dining experiences aren’t just for travelers. As locals, we lucky to live in a culinary locale that outsiders pay thousands to visit each year! Participating chefs and restaurants are some of the best in the nation, and many have earned numerous national nods for their innovative resort culinary programs. In addition to showcasing the best of Arizona’s resort-restaurant scene, AZ Wine & Dine offers live music, libations from boutique wineries and local microbreweries and a chance to mix and mingle with some of the state’s top culinary talent. Though the event presents a great opportunity for locals to sample culinary specialties from multiple resorts all at once, it also serves as an unofficial kick-off for a summer-long campaign urging locals to visit the state’s resort restaurants. With less competition for tables and shorter lines to wait in, it’s an ideal time for locals to get a taste of what others travel halfway around the world to enjoy. AZ Wine & Dine tickets are available for $65 per person until March 31, at which time ticket prices will increase to $75.
