If a vendor has leftover food, they can instantly notify a local organization, which can coordinate food pick-up and alert food recipients of an upcoming donation at a nearby community center. Essentially, a vendor “tweets” an organization, which sends a driver to pick up the food. Then, a flash-mob-style text alerts subscribers of the free food delivery.
