Not every moment needs a story.

Sometimes it’s just a horse being a horse.

And that’s enough.

A great training environment starts from the ground up.

Quality footing, a thoughtfully designed arena, and a backdrop that’s pretty hard to beat.

At Smooking Roosters, we believe the environment matters just as much as the work being done within it.

Built with Intention.

Same view. New season. 🍂

There’s something about this time of year around Smooking Roosters that never gets old.

From the pasture to the arena and everything in between—this is home.

Sunday, ranch edition.

Good horses. Fresh air. No complaints.

Quality over quantity.

Being a boutique breeding program means every decision matters.

It’s not about producing the most—it’s about being thoughtful with every cross, choosing mares we believe in, and looking toward the kind of horses we want to see in the reining industry for years to come.

Pedigree matters. Performance matters. But so do the qualities that can’t always be measured on paper.

Our goal is simple: breed with purpose, raise them well, and give every horse the foundation to become the best version of themselves.

That’s what Built with Intention means to us.

Every trophy has a story.

Walk into the office at Smooking Roosters and you’ll find years of memories—special horses, unforgettable runs, milestones reached, and plenty of reasons to be grateful for the journey so far.

They may decorate the walls, but it’s everything behind them that means the most.

And there’s always room for the next one.

Built with Intention.

Throwback Thursday to a special week in Las Vegas. 🤍

Michelle Fumagalli and Valentina Baby Pale stepping into the pen together at The Run For A Million was already a moment worth remembering.

A special mare, a special partnership, and a milestone we’ll be proud to look back on for years to come.

Some memories deserve another trip around the feed.

Built with Intention.
