Our amazing customers have sent us photos of some of the meals they've made with our produce. We love seeing what y'all come up with!
Featuring:
-Open-faced sammys with jalapeño jelly, fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, pesto, bread and butter pickles, and bachelor's button
-DIY ice cream from frozen cantaloupe and cream
-Summer salad with nasturtiums and hard boiled eggs
-Fancy French tuna salad sandwich with basil
-Basil pesto
-Scrambled eggs and toast with jelly
-Pizza with zucchini and squash

The farm stand is looking full this morning! We've got a new salsa flavor and the first harvest of ground cherries! If you've never tried them, they've got a unique flavor and are a great summer snack. We're open today, Sunday, until 7pm*.

*The farm stand is often open later than that. It's just whenever we get around to closing it in the evening.

Sourdough and cookies are back at the farm stand today! You can also find cucumbers, patty pan squash, hot peppers, okra, garlic scape salt, jelly, pickles, and salsa at 8232 Scottsville Rd. Open until 7pm Sunday, Aug 2.

A partial lunar eclipse will be visible on the night of Thursday, Aug 27 into the early morning hours of Friday, Aug 28. Come camp out at the farm and gaze at the sky with us. We'll see what we can see, even if it's cloudy! We'll provide the campfire, you bring your own food and tent. We love pets, but please leave them at home for this event. $5/person.

It's tomato rainbow time!

Celebrate summer tomatoes by turning them into salsa that you can enjoy all year. Any level of canning experience is welcome. Each participant will help make and take home two jars of canned tomato salsa.
The workshop will take place outside, rain or shine on Sunday, August 2 from 2 to 4pm. $40/person.

Grab some produce for your weekend festivities. We've got cucumbers, squash, tomatoes, kale, collard greens, swiss chard, basil, edible flowers, radishes, beets, turnips, jalapeños, poblanos, and cayennes.

New pickles are in stock too! We've got sweet, hot, and dilly flavors.

We'll also have baked goods including some new flavors!
Sourdough--classic and new whole wheat
Shortbread--classic, new pecan, and new lemon
Cookies--chocolate chip walnut and new oatmeal raisin
Granola--cranberry pecan
Scones--new lemon poppyseed, lemon blueberry, chocolate orange, chocolate cherry, jalapeño cheddar, and roasted garlic asiago

It's getting hot, which means it's time to put the shade cloth on the high tunnel. Our pepper high tunnel doesn't have any fans, so we keep the sides up and the door open to let the wind in all the time. Having the shade cloth on top helps to knock the high temperatures down a little and we're hoping it also reduces sun scald as the peppers grow.

The farm stand is open today until 7pm with some new goodies: grab some microgreens and sugar snap peas for your Memorial Day festivities. We also have kale, radishes, dill, cilantro, sourdough, shortbread, granola, jellies, and pickled goods.
