Y'all have pretty much sold me out of pasta salad, thank you!! I'll do my very best to get that restocked this weekend, but please be patient with me if I can't get that restocked. Thank you all for your love and support.

Happy Thursday, y’all! We have new offerings that have graced the shelves in the past week. New to the gravity bin wall, we have pearl couscous & orzo from Zelli Pasta! If the cooler weather has you in the mood for pumpkin-flavored things, we now have a pre-made heirloom pumpkin purée—in addition to the three different varieties of pumpkins/winter squash we have (Blue Doll pumpkins & butternut squash from dewittfarm2022 and Black Futsu squash from Planted. The Market Farm). If you’re on the hunt for some non-food gift items, we have new beeswax candle shapes from The Ramblin' Bee and food candles from Glow Worm Goods on the A-frame shelf!

Miss seeing us through the week? I get it. We miss y'all too.
However, we are so happy to partner with The Local Good General Store just off the square in Scottsville. They are open Thursday - Monday (closed Tuesday & Wednesday) with SO MANY local goodies. You've seen those refilleries on Instagram? It's like that PLUS an emphasis on ethically sourced, fair trade, and local items like dang good beef - it's ours. A true gem for rural Kentucky. Go check them out and tell them we said "Hi!" 🥩

The first October day open for us calls for the first soup of the year.

I have my Cheese Tortellini soup made with five cheese Tortellini, Planted. The Market Farm kale & chicken sausage (for my AlphaGal friends who can still eat dairy)! One of my all time favorite spins on Zuppa Tuscana.

And pictured is a highly request item from my weekly delivery days; Chili Lime Shrimp with Rice & Veggies!! (Come get yours before my loving former client comes and grabs them all; she's been requesting it for months! 🥰)

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS | Since TLG’s inception as a wee mini market, we’ve been working toward being able to accept SNAP. Over three years later, we are so happy to announce that we are *finally* authorized to accept SNAP! 🎉

All grocery items on our shelves are SNAP-eligible, along with West & Taylor’s refrigerated & frozen meals and cold-packed items. PLUS, SNAP customers will receive 10% off their entire order each time they use their card!

Alongside SNAP, we are now a Kentucky Double Dollars (KDD) participating retailer! SNAP customers will receive up to $20 per day for KY-grown fruit, veggies, meat, eggs, and dairy. KDD-eligible items are marked throughout the store either directly on their price tag or with a nearby “Eligible for KDD” tag.

Whether you’ve shopped with us since our Ridley Roasthouse days or you just found us recently, y’all’s support helped us achieve this very important goal. From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU, and we look forward to further increasing access to local food for all of our neighbors! 💖

10/1 STORE CLOSURE | Hey, y’all! Our regularly-scheduled pest spraying will be happening later in the day than normal today, which will not allow for a 24-hour window before opening tomorrow.
