Goooood morning!!

Introducing this week's newest addition to the cooler: Stewed Okra & Tomatoes w/Smoked Andouille Sausage over Jasmine Rice!

- Dewitt Farm Okra & a mix of Need More Acres Farm cherry tomatoes & canned diced tomatoes Stewed for hours with Dry Guys Pantry Supply Ⓥ Old Bayou seasoning & salt. Then added to seared Smoked Andouille Sausage, all poured over the Wagner family (Two Brooks Farm) Jasmine Rice.

--Old Bayou you is a salt-free Cajun seasoning; think a cross between Old Bay and Tony Chachere's!

Also in the fridge still is Honey-Lime Salmon and some broccoli salad.

IMPORTANT STORE CLOSURE INFO | Heads up! We’ll be taking a couple Sundays off to rest this month! We’ll be closed on Sept. 13th and Sept. 27th, so be sure to plan accordingly.

Just as we’re winding down our week, we (finally!) got a few offerings we’ve been sitting on out on the floor! You can now find dried minced onions and toasted onion powder from Burlap & Barrel Single Origin Spices on the spice & tea shelf. As for the home goods side of things, Green Llama’s dishwasher tabs are available in bulk near the dish soap barrel.

As the weather is (very) slowly showing signs of cooler temps, our fig trees at home are starting to share their bounty. This morning, we had enough for one “lite-pint” to bring to the shop!

Remember, we are closing early today at 5:30 pm, so be sure to plan accordingly! Until then, we’ll be around to help with all your local grocery needs! ✨

Happy Thursday! We have a few sweet little additions to the TLG offerings lineup. You can now find Virgo Moon fruit chews and honey ginger & lemon lozenges on the bar near the register! The fruit chews—which are reminiscent of Now & Laters—come in three flavors: Cosmic Mix (an assortment of blueberry, strawberry, and peach), Wild Blueberry, and Strawberry Hibiscus Rose. They feature Maine-grown fruit and use Maine-produced butter, while the lozenges feature Maine apple cider vinegar + honey. Both come wrapped in backyard-compostable wrappers, which you can bring back to us for composting if you don’t have a compost setup at home!

Later this afternoon, we will get a fresh bread restock from Hogue Farms and The Status Crowe pimento cheese will be making its return!
