It’s finally here! The farmstand will officially open for Mother’s Day weekend from 9am-4pm on Friday and Saturday May 8th and 9th. Details below!

If you’ve been meaning to pre-order flowers for the mom or mother figure in your life, now is the time. There are just a few bouquets and arrangements left in our shop. Pickup is available in Charlottesville and Scottsville.

We are so excited to welcome you to the farmstand- it is self-serve, with cash and venmo accepted.

A few additional notes for visiting the farmstand:

There is signage marking the farm entrance. Please park in the designated parking spot when visiting the farmstand. Please do not use our personal driveway, which is a separate entrance marked with a Private Drive sign.

While the farmstand is open, the farm remains closed to the public. You will see our fields and barn through the fence, but please do not enter through the gate. We appreciate your cooperation, as this is our home and a working farm.

Ranunculus are here in a beautiful range of colors. Our earliest Spring flowers - poppies, anemones and tulips - are abundant. We are cutting the first few stems of snapdragons, bells of Ireland and delphinium, with even more variety coming soon. We are excited to be harvesting so many blooms 💐

More beautiful spring flowers are blooming every day! These anemones have my heart right now- especially levante Rosa from . We are harvesting armloads of gorgeous tulips and Iceland poppies, and ranunculus will be here soon. Here are some ways to find our flowers-

As we reflect upon this season, our amazing crew stands out as the foundation of our farm and all of the flowers that go out into the world. We are so grateful for their hard work, laughter and good vibes. This year is particularly bittersweet as we bid farewell to two of our long time employees, William and Rheannon, as they embark on new adventures. William is starting his own farm on family land in Bath County, VA, and Rheannon plans to start graduate school for Environmental Science near DC. William has been our rock on the farm the last three years, and has been responsible for everything from soil to seed to flower and beyond. William joined the farm as seasonal part time staff, and grew into and thrived in his role as Assistant Farm Manager, leading our crew in farm tasks. Rheannon has been with us two seasons, and is the smiling face behind thousands of stems of flowers. We will miss them dearly, but wish them the best in their journeys!
