These cooler mornings are reminding us all that sweet corn season is fleeting.

We’re estimating our last planting will be ready to enjoy around Labor Day, which means we only have three weekends left of fresh sweet corn!

The good news is we should have plenty for you all this weekend. See you soon at the farm!

Twenty years ago, we started selling sweet corn by the road in front of our farmhouse. Our Grandpa B built and painted this sign for us that year. We’d put a few dozen on the shelf each August day and get so excited if we sold it all at the end of the day.

Last year, our Dad surprised us girls with Grandpa’s sign hanging in our new store. We love looking at this sign every day, thinking of our Grandpa B and remembering how lucky we are to have been loved by him 🪽❤️

Happy Friday! We are STOCKED with sweet corn and beef!

We will be working the store most of this weekend but sometimes we need a break to do our other jobs, eat, or breathe for a minute. If we aren’t in the store, please use the cash box or Venmo to pay for your goodies. We also accept checks.

We believe in the honor system but it sure is a bummer when folks abuse it. Earlier this week this dude walked in with cash in hand, realized no one was around, decided to keep his cash and take a bag of corn anyway. Merp!

Thank you to the majority of you who are honest and kind! We love seeing you! Hope you have a great weekend! 🙂
