📢 A Message for Hunters and Families 📢

A lot of new pilots have started offering drone recovery services this season. We respect anyone working to build a business, and we’re not here to judge their reasons or intentions. We simply want hunters and families to know what to consider when choosing an operator.

This season, we’ve been called after other searches where deer were still missing. In some cases, we located them alive; in others, they had expired. Those hunters needed answers and peace of mind.

Before hiring an operator, ask about their experience, equipment, and track record. Make sure the price reflects the service and experience you’re getting. Cost and distance matter, but so does choosing someone who will take the search seriously and keep working toward an answer.

We’ve taken calls from hunters who had already paid for another search. That can mean we absorb some of the cost, but we still want to help. We’re here to give every search our best effort and help bring closure—not just to collect a fee and move on.

At Carolina Thermal & Recovery, we don’t want an injured deer left in the woods to suffer. Your deer matters. Choose the operator you trust to see the search through.

Be able to pick up 120 lbs
Must be reliable
Pay is per deer
Must be flexible to work weekdays (5:30pm-until all deer cleaned) and weekends (mornings and afternoons)
