Didn’t realize it was the start of National Dairy month!

Let’s take a minute and recognize my 2 best girls and the amazing work they do. We wouldn’t be eating like kings if it weren’t for these 2 beautiful girls and all the milk they share

Anyone else make pasta? I’m bulk batching some to have on hand for this summer before things get super busy.
I’m really looking forward to the different varieties. I used fresh milled wheat flour, whole wheat flour and specialty salts for different flavor combination.
Then alternated some goose eggs and duck eggs instead of chicken. What’s your favorite way to store homemade pasta?

Our biggest Rex litter yet!

11 healthy little wigglers were born on Friday May 29th. We checked Friday evening and she was in labor, she had 4 in the nest already and I found 3 on the wire. They were all placed in the nest and I left them confident they were thriving and doing great. She surprised me for sure and I found 4 more in the nest the next morning!

Only thing I had to buy was corn starch…

Milk, eggs, vanilla, sugar & corn starch.
