This is going to be a long post…. This is the first year we have ever participated in a parade. We did two- Georgetown and Seaford. We placed 1st place for our float in Georgetown and the Sussex County Council Choice Award in the Seaford parade! We want to make sure the credit goes to the ones behind the idea, planning, constructing and ex*****on of putting our float together! Thank you so much Paige and Ryan Young for literally everything!!! I was only responsible for providing a wagon, a shelter to construct it and pulling it through the parade. They literally did everything! When Paige approached me at the end of the summer about building a float and putting Marvelous Produce on the side of it, my first thought was, “this is too good to be true, what’s the catch.” But, there was no catch, just genuine graciousness! We honestly wouldn’t have done it without you! They put countless hours into our float, with the only expectation being that they would hopefully bring some joy to families that got to admire the beautiful float they constructed! A float that didn’t even bare their names. Their graciousness certainly gave the Marvel family hope and joy, and something we will never forget!! We can’t evwn put jnto words, the amount of gratitude we have for the Young family! Paige and Ryan, thank you so much!!! Merry Christmas everyone!! ✝️🎄🎅
