I had to include pictures of this plant’s beautiful HOT PINK blooms this week! Sooo vibrant and so satisfying! You wait so long for that plant’s bloom stem to appear, then watch it as it grows - getting longer and longer every day - until finally…

Fruit scrap vinegar started last night! I used these overripe fruit from the garden and fridge. I saved the rest for the chickens, of course!🐓

🍊 Mandarin 🍊 🍉 Watermelon 🍉
🍓 Strawberry 🍓 🫐 Blueberry 🫐

Super Simple!
👉Add fruit to about 1/3 of your jar
👉Add plain ol’ granulated sugar - a few tbsp 🤷‍♀️
👉Fill with water, leave room at the top
👉Cover allowing gases to release. (I use a coffee filter and a rubber band)
👉Stir at least twice a day.
✅ It will ferment and create vinegar!

Last week’s video of a few broody mamas 😊. This week, they are running around tending to their “toddlers”. It has been so heart warming watching all these girls become AMAZING moms this year! They deserve dinner served to them - it must be hard work sitting on eggs for weeks straight! I know I would go crazy! 😂

When you’re trying to take a nap but everyone around you is just doing too much. He wasnt even phased by the sound of the feed bag. That’s good sleeping right there!
