Last Monday we spent some time with my mother’s chicks she got from us back in December. They are so sweet and absolutely gorgeous! The fluff is real with these critters!

Do you prefer straight feathered or frizzled Polish chickens? I’m trying to decide if I want to keep a frizzled rooster or a standard one. What do yall think?!

✨ Yesterday’s haul was so prettyyyyy ✨

I am constantly trying to get pictures of our mint green eggs from the Lavender Easter Eggers and it never seems to work. Finally, the lighting cooperated with me and I’m in awe of how bright and deep the coloring is! 😊

THEN… I dropped it on the ground and broke it! 😭 At least I got the picture first!

Yall fell in love with the Bantam Cochins and we couldn’t be happier because we truly love this breed so much!! We went in with 47 of them and left with 7 which were claimed pretty quickly afterwards. The best part is… it gives me (Audra) an excuse to hatch more and more 😊

I snapped some pictures of this lil’ chick yesterday evening. She was being adorable by simply existing ✨ 3 days old and sweet all over!

I already know she’s gonna have the FLUFFIEST BUTT and I can’t wait to pet it! 😂

Sweet, healthy, feather footed babies hatched from non-aggressive, spoiled parents with dark lines. Happy to send pictures of mom/dad! Pick-up or meet in Carteret County! Willing to negotiate on $$ since I hatched over 200 chicks this go-around 😅

Go get them babies a branch! They will thank you! We put together another “grow-out” pen for our young ladies and gents. I would love to add new roosts all over along with other cute things… but currently I’m just so busy! So, I took my mini-chainsaw and cut down the first branch that looked promising. The chicks immediately started to check it out. Now on sunny days they are either sun-bathing (looking half-dead and scaring me to death) or hanging out on their fun branch! ❤️ 🌳 🐥 ☀️
