Hey there fellow breakfast lovers! We come to you with a lot of words in this one, but we hope you all will take the time to read this in its entirety and know that this isn’t something we ever thought we would feel necessary to post.
We want to start by, once again, thanking each and every one of you that come to support our little breakfast operation! None of this would be possible without you!
Now to the harsh reality of the situation that many of us find ourselves in. Most of you have probably seen a fair amount of small businesses posting about how difficult of a time it is for all of us right now. We are no different. Prices of goods and services are rising almost weekly and we’re doing our best to keep our menu prices right where they are. We love what we do and never want to give up on this dream, but if things don’t change in the near future we may have to make some tough decisions when it comes to our business. We’ll do everything we can to keep this breakfast machine going before we give it up but that may affect our days of operation and/or hours so we can take other avenues to stay in business.
Staying with that point, we see and hear many comments about us not being open during our “regular hours” at times, but we assure you it’s not because we don’t want to serve up your faces. We’ve stated since the beginning that it’s always best to check our page for updates to our schedule as we post any time there are changes. Most of the time we are a 2-person operation. If we get hired for a catering job, have appointments for our children, or have any other life events that are during our normal operating hours we do not have employees to call in to take over for us. If a catering opportunity comes our way that interferes with our hours, please understand that that’s guaranteed sales. We don’t simply close because we don’t want to be there. We put our heart and soul into this and we don’t want you all to believe differently.
Our main point of this post is just to ask you all to support your favorite local businesses if you are able and know that many of us are just doing our best to stay afloat right now. Also, please give these local businesses some grace and understanding. We can’t speak for everyone but we can almost guarantee that nearly all of our stress levels are through the roof. If you can’t support financially there are other ways to show some love. Share their posts on social media. Go give them glowing reviews if you haven’t already. We assure you that every little bit helps!
Again, thank you all for making our dream possible! We want to be around for a super long time and we’ll do everything within our power to make that happen. You all are the best customers around and we could not be more grateful! Seriously, thank you all from the bottom, top, center, and all sides of our hearts!❤️
