Last night, my beautiful grandmother peacefully passed away at the remarkable age of 99 1/2. She was the mother of my dad, Aaron Dixon, and a shining light in our family. While I’m heartbroken that I didn’t get to see her one last time, I take comfort in knowing she is now at peace in heaven, reunited with my grandfather and so many loved ones who went before her.

She was deeply loved and will be missed beyond measure by all of us and everyone whose lives she touched. Rest in heaven, Grandma—you will forever hold a special place in my heart. I love you.
