Raising money to help with closing costs, rent, and new items for catering. But also just wanted a time for all of the community to be together. I will be a mess lol, but my mom and aunties will actually be cooking, we’ll have raffle gift bags, and 90’s R&B music to dance to. I know money is tight for everyone (including myself) so even if you can’t spend a dollar, come on through and hang to cheers to the memory of OHSUN as a restaurant and my halmoni.⁣

As a Millennial, I do hope you’re thinking of Ross when you see the word “pivot”. It’s no secret that running a restaurant is incredibly difficult, and our Pioneer Square neighborhood still hasn’t bounced back. Lunch service will no longer be offered; it just financially doesn’t make sense anymore. But to enjoy OHSUN’s food still (and get more offerings at that) we will be catering, doing private events, and can be hired for personal chef inquiries in your own home. Please spread the word. Mark October 18th on your calendars for a fundraising event to help with the transition. We’ll eat, listen to good music, I’ll probably cry lol, but we’ll have a good time. Love to all of our regulars and people that have supported my halmoni’s legacy. Thank you 💛
