School is back in session for some, and you have a long day of activities, with no time to cook. Well, I hope I can be of some help!
This coming week’s Selamat Makan menu is here, available for local pickup in Seattle and Bellevue.

🍽️ THIS WEEK’S MENU
1️⃣ Nasi Hainan: $18
(Garlic/ginger spiced rice with boiled chicken, side soup, and sauce)

2️⃣ Ikan Goreng Balado: $23 🌶️
Fried fish covered in spicy sauce + Rice= $3

3️⃣ Shrimp Egg Foo Young: $17
Omelette eggs filled with bean sprouts, scallions, and shrimp, then top it off with gravy sauce on the side.
Add rice: $3

4️⃣ Ayam Bakar Rujak: $15
Cut-up chicken, open-fire grilled with homemade rujak sauce.
Add-on rice 🍚: $3

5️⃣ Cobek Babi Rendang Padang $17 🌶️ 🌟 (Signature dish)
Shredded pork stirred with rendang sauce over steamed rice, and topped with fried shallots.

Drinks: $8 (6 oz.)

I honestly didn't think this sambal 🌶 would be the hot 🔥 commodity!
Originally, I made for just a total of 12, and then I had prepaid rsvp, then it went down to 6, so I added 4 more jars to finish the batch. Little did I know...it went off flying 🪁 out the fridge so quickly, and now I only have 2 jars left!
So...who wants to get a jar of this golden spicy secret? 🌶🔥😁

Pan fried, thin egg sheets, filled with spiced minced meat, eggs, and scallions, topped with fried shallots with homemade soy vinaigrette sauce on the side.

2️⃣ Ikan Goreng Balado: $23 🌶️
Fried fish covered in spicy sauce + Rice= $3

3️⃣ *Udang Petai/Pete Balado: $19 🌶️
(Spicy shrimp with sator beans and rice

My heart goes out to all the victims of the horrible shooting that took place at the Bite of Seattle last night. I feel deep pain for every family now mourning the loss of their loved ones, as well as for the victims who are still recovering.

​I was very fortunate to have left the grounds two hours earlier after dropping off food supplies for a fellow vendor. Not long after I left, I received several calls and messages from vendor friends at the park who didn't know I had already left; I couldn't answer all of them at once. Later on, I learned that a gunman had killed innocent victims who were just trying to enjoy their day at the park.

​To everyone who reached out to check on me: I am okay, safe, and alive. Thank you so much for your concern. Right now, I just need some time to process everything and recover mentally from this terrible news.

I'm here now, ready to sell & "roll"! Nasi Goreng & Mie tek are both S/O!!! I have a small batch of sambal jars left.

When you get to the dealership, just park anywhere on the upper lot, enter through the lobby, hang a left, go to the VERY back of the 1st floor, I'm here!
Or ask the lobby staff where the café is...
