We are delighted to feature Gig Harbor artist Lisa Sweo Eul in our tasting room in June.

Her show, “Between Tides” brings together works from Chaos & Complexity and The Fearless Chapter—two series exploring what it means to move through uncertainty with openness and courage. Inspired by water, tides, and the rhythms of nature, these layered paintings hold both energy and stillness— moments of drift, pull, surrender, and return. Like the tide, they remind us that change is constant, and beauty often lives in what is left behind.

We are hosting a reception for Lisa on June 18 5:30-7:30 PM at our Gig Harbor tasting room and invite the community to meet the artist and explore her art. Small bites are provided, and wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages are available for purchase. Thank you to the Peninsula Art League for their collaboration, helping us bring local artists into the community.

Meet Gretchen! She works in our Gig Harbor tasting room, serving up Spruce Hill wine and making new friends with everyone she meets. Gretchen has worked in the wine industry for years and holds a WSET Level 2 Award in Wine. She uses this experience to help our guests learn about our wine, meeting them where they are in their wine journey and encouraging them to experience wine in new ways.

Join us TOMORROW for an introduction to the WSET Level 2 Systematic Approach to Wine Tasting. Gretchen will walk you through the structured method professionals use to evaluate wine and help you gain confidence in describing aromas, flavors, and quality.

Your $45/person ticket price includes a tasting of four wines, small bites, guided instruction, and handouts that you can take home with you. Space is limited!

Visit our Events Calendar (link in bio) to buy your tickets. We hope to see you there!

Oooh! Look what just showed up in the mail! Our 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon was awarded Gold, 92 points at the Washington Wine Awards!

We craft our wines with a focus on structure, balance, and varietal expression. Sourced from Marissa’s Block at Dineen Vineyard in the Yakima Valley, an acclaimed site for age-worthy Cabernet Sauvignon, this wine highlights what Washington State does best.

Aromas of eucalyptus, mint, and dill are layered with perfumed oak and hints of vanilla and chocolate-covered cherry. The palate reveals dark fruit, like plum and black cherry, woven with notes of to***co, graphite, and crushed stone. Lifted and finely structured, this Cabernet shows restraint and precision rather than overt richness.

Enjoy now or age for 5–7 years. Pairs beautifully with grilled ribeye, roasted lamb, hearty mushroom dishes, or aged hard cheeses.

We’re pouring it in our tasting rooms now! Come by and check it out. 😊

During World War II, Jo’s parents met in Bremerton while Al was stationed there, and Betty was working at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. (This photo is from their honeymoon in San Francisco.) Al served as a radar man on several ships patrolling the waters of the Pacific and was awarded a Purple Heart after a Kamikaze attack that killed and wounded many of the servicemen on board. After a three-month recovery in the hospital, he served out his remaining enlistment and returned to Bremerton to raise a family and start a business (Kitsap Auto Parts, for those who remember.)

We’re grateful to those who put their lives on the line to serve our country and would like to honor veterans and active duty miliary members with a half price glass of wine in our tasting rooms this weekend.

Our new 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon just received Gold, 92 points at the 2026 Seattle Wine Awards! It’s always a little bit scary when we submit our wine for evaluation, but it feels so good when our hard work is recognized by the wine industry. Washington State produces a lot of Cabernet Sauvignon so...
