TGIF, Grateful Herd!

Our hard-working herd of Grateful Goats has done a totally goatastic job chomping away for the Key Peninsula Fire! The brush is cleared, the vibes are high, and the pasture is looking real clean.
Next Tuesday, we are packing up the herd and truckin' on over to our next property! We can't wait to meet our new clients—turns out they are fellow Deadheads, so you already know the energy on this new job is going to be high-vibe and righteous.

This isn’t an easy post to write, and it weighs so heavily on our hearts. Last Friday, September 25, we said goodbye to our precious girl, Mia (lovingly known as Stitch). 💔
She passed away peacefully here at home, surrounded by so much love—with us and her sister, China Cat Sunflower, right by her side.
Mia may have been tiny, but she was fiercely mighty! She absolutely loved the beach, where she’d somehow hunt down the largest tree branches she could find and proudly haul them back to us. She also had an incredible gift for comfort—if a friend came over needing a little extra love, Mia would curl right up and lay across them for their entire visit.
Our home feels so much quieter and emptier now, and China Cat Sunflower is missing her sister deeply. We’re all taking it day by day and healing together. Rest easy, sweet Mia You will be missed beyond words. 🌈🐾🤍

We love being part of this amazing community... though we have to warn you, after this feature, every goat in the herd want’s to be officially in the modeling world signing with Bleat Modeling Management?! Next thing you know, they'll be demanding organic clover and room-temperature spring water in their green room before strutting down the runway!

KPFD found a cheaper, greener way to clear its overgrown Key Center property with goatscaping.

Our herd has officially wrapped up Phase 1! The Grateful Goats did an amazing job doing what they do best.
Next up: Phase 2 for the KP Fire Department! We’re excited to get back to work chomping down vegetation to help with fire safety and land management.

Thank you all so much for the love and support you’ve shown us Grateful Herd after losing Cosmic Charlie. It means the world to us.
Life has been heavy for us recently. Right now, we are focusing our care on our sweet dog, Mia. Mama Mia is our 15 year old pup and has lived such a full, beautiful life. She has always been our empathetic pup—she has a way of knowing who needs a little extra TLC whenever friends visit.
We will be stepping away from Facebook for a little bit to dedicate our full time and heart to loving on Mia, keeping her comfortable, and making sure we are right by her side.
Thank you for understanding and for keeping us in your thoughts.
