I'm at the oldest brewery in Sarajevo, the Pivnica Sarajevo. They do not have a wide variety like an American craft brewery, more like a Check brewery. The svijetlo is a light lager, the tamno is a dark lager. The gave an unfiltered lager and a premium. Sarajevsko pico is the most common beer in town.

Last night I was at the LENNOX - The Pub in Barcelona, and I saw this Lagunitas as sign behind the bar. I told the bartender that I used to work with them in Seattle. He said they have the best IPA.

A good craft beer is hard to find in Albania, but it is getting easier. I just found the Taproom by Pans Microbrewery, in Tirana. They are starting out with an IPA, the Vagabone, a Belgian Wit and a larger. Soon they will have beers from the other 5 craft breweries in Albania, so the entire Albanian craft brewery community will be represented here. A must visit if you are a beer lover.

I'm in Bath, England, and the one craft brewery I see in most of the cities is BrewDog. I haven't had an opportunity to visit many, but it's one of the few places that have a selection of beers like you would find in a US craft brewery. The only problem is if it is over 6% ABV you can't get a full pint. So I'm enjoying the Grind Coffee Stout at 6%, the Goodness Brewery's Century Imperial Stout at 7.4% and the Barn Dance Barleywine at 9.5% by Brewdog. (ok, you should not drink a pint of the barley wine.)
All very good, or maybe I've been away from craft breweries for awhile.

As a bit of Seattle nostalgia goes, "Smells like teen Spirit" by Nirvana is playing.

I'm in Brugge at Amuzand for a light lunch. So many of the beers here are high in alcohol. The Liefmans Fruitesse is 3.8% abv, served on the rocks, lite, fruity with a touch of sour.
