BOOKISH BAZAAR AUTHOR & VENDOR APPLICATIONS ARE OPEN!

The Bookish Bazaar returns to Old Stove Gardens on Sunday, October 4th from 2–7pm and this time, we’re leaning all the way into spooky season.

We’re looking for authors and vendors whose work fits the darker side of bookish culture, including:

📖 Academia
🕯️ Dark Fantasy
🥀 Dark Romance
😱 Horror
🔎 Mystery
🩸 Thriller

Whether you write the stories, make the art, or create the merch, we want to hear from you.

🍻✨ VENDORS WANTED! ✨🍻

We’re celebrating another year of Old Stove Gardens with an Anniversary Celebration + Bavarian Market on Saturday, September 26th from 2–7pm, and we’re looking for local makers, artists, and small businesses to join us!

We’d especially love vendors with Bavarian, German, Alpine, Oktoberfest, or European-inspired goods—but all vendors are welcome to apply!

Think handmade goods, art, specialty foods, holiday finds, unique gifts, and all the things that make shopping local so fun.

We love partnering with local non-profits like Forgotten Dogs Rescue through our weekly Giving in the Gardens series to highlight the amazing work they’re doing within our community.

This evening a handful of adorable pups are here with the hope of meeting their forever-family 🐾 $1 from every beer/cider sold this evening until 9pm (Aug 18) will be donated to Forgotten Dogs to support their mission.

If you can’t make it down, other ways you can support this rescue include:
•following them on social media
•amplifying their posts to increase visibility through commenting & sharing
•direct donations through their site
•and adopting a furry friend!

Come join us on Friday, August 7th between 5-11pm for our monthly First Friday Flash event at Old Stove Gardens in Ballard!

Local tattoo artists will be offering flash tattoos all night, including:
