In 2017, Stolthet Aquavit set out to be the aquavit that was set apart from the others, with a base of smoothness and well-blended spices to create a refreshing experience with every sip. Most aquavits in the marketplace tend to be bold with the burn while sipping, making the experience unpleasant, a particular dominating spice or herb that can overpower one's tastebuds. Stolthet Aquavit was crafted with all the following challenges to become a product sought after.
Stolthet Aquavit is bottled by The 509 Spirits. in Centralia, WA, as the Pacific Northwest captures the natural elements like the Nordic countries, which creates a more authentic feel to our product. In 2017, our aquavit was tested by immigrants from the Nordic countries in the Seattle area. Our first sampling was done at a Norwegian Reality Show party (Alt for Norge) at the National Nordic Museum, where eager former contestants gladly gave their thumbs up. We are very involved with our Nordic Community, beyond just being a brand to find on a shelf. Our sampling shows 9 out of 10 tasters love Stolthet Aquavit, and our constant feedback confirms that our product is superior—Stolthet Aquavit, aquavit reimagined, Smooth, Scandinavian, Savour.
