This outstanding Italian restaurant is in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle. Picolinos is a beautiful restaurant with consistantly beautiful food.

Here's Ravioli di Nettuno (Neptune's Ravioli).

We stopped by the new Rustic for lunch today, and it already feels like a welcome addition to Lynden’s dining scene. The dining room is warm, comfortable, and filled with a relaxed Western country charm that instantly makes you want to settle in and stay awhile. The team was upbeat, smiling, attentive, and clearly excited to welcome guests through the door — the kind of positive energy that makes a new restaurant feel special from the start.

We began with cups of the Whiskey Crab Soup and the French Onion Soup, and both were excellent.

For our main course, we split a full rack of Danish baby back ribs, perfectly charred and coated in a rich, flavorful apple balsamic BBQ glaze. Tender, smoky, and beautifully balanced.

We’ll definitely be back soon to explore more of the menu. The prime rib (served after 4 PM) is already calling our name.
