Not a bad bottle for $16. This is a $22 Cahors, quite pleasant and clean with reasonably ripe fruit, acidity and not overly tannic. Though not a complex wine, I would buy this again, because i am curious about the “sans souffre” claim. The winemaker could have chosen a yeast that produces more sulfites than typical, and there is no indication of barrel aging, which could mean at most 6 months in barrel before sterile filtering to tank for micro-ox and quick bottling.

Bit of a gloomy post here. First, it’s raining on Quonny pond in Rhode Island. Second, what “island”?! Third, tasting room is closed this weekend (but open next Saturday, and there are lots of places to buy T2). But worst of all, we are almost out of our stash of T2 wines, and we have a week left at the beach!!! (But the weather gets better) So, we’ll be without the world’s best qpr (quality-price-ratio) wine, and left to either slum it with plonk, or pony up for overpriced imports. In RI, it’s pretty much all imports. I’ll report back.
At least there are lots of clams in the pond.

Run by true foodies, there are only good choices on the Mediterranean-styled menu, and some great local wine choices, as in, actually local, West Seattle wineries. This is the only place serving T2’s new vintage of Gamache Vineyard Malbec.

It’s kind of comical now, but several months ago a person from city hall dropped by to talk with us about what a huge opportunity the world cup would be for Seattle businesses, and they would bring us extra recycling and trash containers!😃
It has been…for businesses within a short walk of the stadium district and waterfront. If you are not into crowds though, we’re here for you, open today and tomorrow, July 3 & 4, 3-6.
Closed two weeks to recover from the exhaustingly massive amount of business WC has brought us!
