Coda's Kitchen is operated by DeCoda Reese, a native from Spanish Town, Jamaica. Spending time in the kitchen with her mother as a child, she gained a passion for food and wanted to know more. Working in the food industry at the age of 13, she planned on attending a culinary arts school to gain knowledge on how to perfect her craft and so she did. After receiving her bachelors degree in culinary a

rts management at the Art institute of Atlanta in 2010, DeCoda continued working in the hospitality industry as a line cook at hotels in downtown Atlanta and worked her way up the food chain, earning her Executive Sous chef position at one of the most prestigious healthcare establishments in North Georgia.

But with so much ambition for excellence, she used her talents and let her creative juices flow creating Coda's Kitchen. Coda's Kitchen is a place where her family and friends would come together and enjoy each others company, with good food, laughter and conversation. ''We never get to sit at the table, we always meet in my kitchen, it is where I can unwind and find my peace of mind. I believe simplicity and consistency is the key, do what you love, keep it simple, produce a great product each and every time and always satisfy your customers".

As we come to our final pop-up , we want to take the time to say THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts. Y’all have showed out and we are forever grateful.

We want to thank for having us join them as they celebrate and recognize all of the amazing entrepreneurs who have dedicated their time, sweat and tears into the passion of culinary arts.

Although this is goodbye for now, we are still available for private caterings during the holiday season. If you haven’t had the opportunity to attend our pop-ups, it’s the LAST one for 2024 so come out. We have planned to make sure that we don’t run out too early but I can’t make any promises.

Sold out for the day, thank you to everyone who came out and supported us. The turn out was amazing and we are forever grateful. This week has been rough but my guardian angel will continue to guide us through it all. See you all next week Saturday, same place, same time. Back at it again this Saturday to kick off Seattle Restaurant Week. We will be serving up your faves October 26th, November 2nd & November 9th from 12p-5p. We have a special menu with set prices for those days which include either the Jerk Chicken or Oxtail Plate. Yes, the cobblers will be available but as you know it’s out when it’s out. Hey y’all. Wanted to check in and let you all know we are closed for the next few weeks to get ready for Seattle Restaurant Week. We are so excited to be a part of this year event as new entrepreneurs serving up some of our favorite dishes to Tukwila, Seattle, Renton and the surrounding areas.

We missed you all last month but we’re back and kicking things off with a fundraiser launch party on August 22nd from 6-8pm, alongside a few great entrepreneurs as part of our cohort. We will be offering a few of our favorites on a small $5 bites menu to introduce what we have to offer.
