Today’s the day! We are incredibly excited to release this year’s Pressed Against the Sky Bourbon Barrel Aged Barleywine. Our decadent small batch barleywine was aged for 15 months in 6+ year Willett Bourbon Barrels.

💀 PRESSED AGAINST THE SKY BOURBON BARREL AGED BARLEYWINE 2026 will be on tap and we’ll have 48 500ml bottles available for in-person purchase when we open at 3pm today. Limit 3 bottles/person. Thanks so much to everyone who already pre-ordered this special release! 

💥 GET VERTICAL - in addition to Pressed Against the Sky 2026, we will tap a SINGLE cellared keg of Pressed Against the Sky 2024 AND we’ll have 12 total 2024 bottles available for in-person purchase. Limit 1 bottle/person.

💀 BBA BARLEYWINE PRE-ORDER!💀

We are thrilled to release the 2026 vintage of Pressed Against the Sky Bourbon Barrel Aged Barleywine! This year’s blend was aged for 15 months in 6+ year Willett Bourbon barrels and is available to pre-order NOW via our webstore (link in bio)!

Pick up your bottle(s) and enjoy a pour on tap THIS FRIDAY, MAY 29th.

PLEASE NOTE:
• Pre-ordered bottles will be available to pick up during regular taproom hours Friday, May 29th through Sunday, June 7th. 
• 3 bottle limit per person. 21+ valid ID required with pick up. ID must match order. 
• There are 120 total bottles of Pressed Against the Sky 2026 available via pre-order.
• We will reserve 48 bottles for in-person purchase this Friday

PLUS:

🥶 FLASH-FROZEN FRESH HOPS 🥶

We were stoked to get to use CGX NUVO in our new pale! This flash-frozen hop product allows us to capture vibrant fresh hop character year round!

UNKNOWN TRANSMISSION- WEST COAST PALE ALE - 4.7%
Unknown Transmission was brewed with a blend of Washington and German pilsner malts. We hopped our new West Coast pale in the kettle exclusively with Strata CGX NUVO then dip hopped with Mosaic Incognito. Unknown Transmission was fermented cool with our house lager strain before being dry hopped with Citra, Ramosa and Columbus Cryo.

🥭🌲 We get notes of mango and strawberry with pleasant dank and resinous character.

🍻 Unknown Transmission will be available on tap and for to-go growler fills when we open at 3pm.

🗓️ Heads up, we’ll be open regular hours all Memorial Day weekend long. Come hang!

HELLO SATAN - RED ALE - 4.9%
Hello Satan is our devilish red ale that was brewed with an underworld blend of pale English, crystal, Munich and debittered black malts. We hopped our red with Chinook and Citra in the kettle and fermented with our house pub ale strain. For operator dial #666.

🌲 We get notes of rich caramel, citrus, fig and pine on this bold yet super drinkable red.

🍻 Hello Satan will be available on tap and in to-go 16oz cans when we open at 3pm.

So pumped to bring back our special seasonal stout on hand-pull!

BLACK NETTLE - STOUT BREWED WITH STINGING NETTLES - 4.5%
Black Nettle was mashed with pale English, crystal, pale chocolate, caramelized oat, and triticale malts. We hopped our stout in the kettle with Spalt Select and allowed it to steep with fresh locally harvested stinging nettles then open-fermented it with our house pub ale strain. Spunded for natural carbonation.

🍫 We get notes of baking chocolate, graham cracker, caramel and Thin Mint Cookies on this smooth and sessionable stout.

We had so much fun collaborating with our friends on our new Double Dry Hopped West Coast Pale Ale brewed to celebrate their 6th anniversary!

HOP HORN BLAST - DDH WEST COAST PALE ALE - 4.6%
Hop Horn Blast was brewed with a blend of German and Washington pilsner malts and hopped in the kettle with Strata, Citra and Chinook. This celebratory beer was fermented cool with our house lager strain then double dry hopped with Citra, Strata and Columbus Cryo.

🌲 We get notes of passionfruit, pine and lemongrass with a drying bitter finish on this light and easy-drinking pale ale.

🍻 Hop Horn Blast will be available on tap and in to-go 16oz cans when we open at 3pm today!

So lovely to have our annual helles lager back for spring!

FOLDING WATER - MUNICH-STYLE HELLES LAGER - 4.8%
Folding Water was brewed with a blend of pilsner malts and hopped in the kettle with Saaz and Hallertau Mittelfrüh. Our helles lager was fermented cold with our favorite German lager strain and spunded for natural carbonation.

🍞🌺 We get notes of fresh baked bread with subtle floral and spicy hop character on this wildly easy-drinking lager.

🍻 Folding Water will be available on side-pull and in to-go 16oz cans when we open at 3pm. PLUS, swing by this Sunday for Kalt Following: Ceremony of Lager No.07 when we’ll be pouring a special gravity keg of this year’s batch of helles.

It’s a big week here at Bizarre! We have lots of fun events including Kalt Following: Ceremony of Lager No.07 this Sunday, PLUS multiple new releases…First out, is a fresh batch of Play it Backwards, our rotating hop DDH pale ale!

PLAY IT BACKWARDS - DDH PALE ALE: NEW ZEALAND EDITION - 5.5%
Play it Backwards was brewed with a blend of pilsner malts as well as flaked wheat and oats. This version was hopped in the kettle with Riwaka and NZ Cascade. Our DDH pale ale was fermented cool with our house kölsch strain, then dry hopped twice with Nectaron, Rakau and Riwaka and finished with Nelson Sauvin Amplifire oil.

🍊 We get bright tropical fruit character with rich citrus and a pleasant dankness on this slightly hazy yet dry pale ale.

🍻 Play it Backwards will be available on tap and in to-go 16oz cans when we open at 3pm.

👟 Join us later for a fun 3-mile run with Bizarre Run Buds, our social run club that meets every 1st and 3rd Wednesday at 6pm. ALL paces welcome, reflective gear encouraged.
