Here at Holy Mountain it feels like Fresh Hop Season truly begins with the release of Strata - a perennial favorite here at the brewery.

Our 2026 Fresh Hop Strata IPA is bursting with melon and passionfruity dankness throughout, courtesy of our friends at Indie Hops. We’re very happy with how this year’s version turned out and highly encourage you to drink it as fresh as possible to enjoy it at its peak. We’ve got a bunch more fresh hops beers planned for the coming weeks and we can’t wait to try everyone else’s beers around town, but this one always feels special.

4packs and draught are stocked up and ready for you at both taprooms when we open at noon today.

If you’re not able to make it to one of our taprooms this weekend, Strata is available for shipping within WA State via our online store and we’ll cover the shipping if you’re buying a full case.

One of our favorite things to do now that the fresh hops have started to arrive is to throw some out on the bar at the brewery so that you all can have the same experience we do with this magical plant.

Rub some hops between your palms and smell the sticky, almost-impossible-to-get-off oil that makes fresh hop beers so incredible. You could also drop a few fresh cones into your beer of choice to add a little fresh strata infusion.

We’ve got a ton of fun stuff coming up over the next six weeks or so and can’t wait to share it with you all. Sign up for our email list for more info on what’s to come - collabs, haze, west coast, lagers, hot side, cold side, merch, etc. There’ll be a little something for everyone.

You all bought out the saison caps so quickly last week that it feels like the perfect time to release a fresh batch of DEMONTELLER.

This mixed culture saison is hopped with Galaxy and Mosaic and fermented and aged in one of our foudres, creating a delicate oak character that balances out a subtle acidity. Demonteller has changed very little in the nearly 10 years since its inception - it’s always brewed into the same oak foudre with the same house mixed culture, three to four times a year since 2016.

Stop by either taproom for a glass and a 4-pack or buy some through our online store for in-state shipping (we’ll cover the shipping if you buy a full case).

And don’t worry - the black metal saison caps will be restocked in 2-3 weeks. 🖤

We have some new SAISON caps in both taprooms. Loudly proclaim your love for mixed fermentation ales (and black metal) with this locally embroidered, canvas, pinch front snapback.

We might not make quite as many saisons as we used to but you can count on there always being a couple on draught at both taprooms as well as a nice selection of bottles being available both to-go or for on-prem consumption.

We made a pretty small run of these and they’re currently available in both taprooms as well as in the online store.

We have two new lagers in both taprooms this week to help you get through the warm days ahead (or start prepping for the incoming fresh hop season).

First up is Carriage of the Spirits. This Italian-style Pilsner was brewed with Pilsner malt and hopped with Tettnang and Saphir, along with a very new and special hop for all of us. Our friends at John I. Haas in Yakima provided us with a small amount of what we like to call a “modern lager hop” from the hop breeding company. This hop was bred to maximize sustainability and agronomics in the Pacific Northwest. We can’t say much else about it, except it seems to hit all the notes of a spicy, fruity, and floral refreshing hoppy pilsner. We dry-hopped with more of this special hop before spunding the tank and letting it condition under its own pressure. This is an awesome twist on an already fantastic beer that is one of our favorites. Crisp, refreshing and hop forward.

We brewed La Luz Especial with a simple base of pilsner malt and corn, then hopped it with Motueka for its refreshing tropical lime character. It is fermented with a strain of yeast originating in Mexico and lagered for weeks in one of our horizontal tanks. We’re leaving the addition of a wedge of fresh lime or a sprinkle of salt up to you, but we’re definitely planning to make a few Micheladas with it this weekend. This beer is so “crushable” you’ll be thinking about your next one before you finish your first.

Both beers are also available in the online store for shipping within WA State. If you order a full mixed case we’ll pay the shipping.

Today in both taprooms we have STRUGGLE IN SILENCE - a new punchy West Coast IPA that benefits Crisis Connections a WA based organization who delivers resources and care to people struggling with mental health issues.

We brewed this a few weeks ago with our buddy Nat to highlight the invisible mental health issues that many in our community are silently suffering from.

Check in on your friends. Loneliness, depression, substance abuse and many other challenges are often invisible and unseen by even those closest to us. If you or someone you love is struggling with their mental health you can contact 988 or the crisis line: 206.461.3222.

Struggle in Silence was brewed with pilsner malt, and flaked barley for a super lean, summer-bound bonanza. Hopped intensely with Simcoe, Simcoe Cryo, Citra, and Mosaic - we are finding intense passionfruit, blueberry, and blood orange aromas all mixed in with some soft cannabis-like edges.

Available now in both taprooms on draught and in 4-packs.

We’re excited to welcome party_favor_pizza to Holy Mountain Phinney Ridge starting this Thursday!

For quite some time, we’ve been enjoying the hell out of these Midwest-style tavern pies hand made by our dear friend Samantha (Fast Fashion/Masonry, available at both Fast Fashion locations). They’re crispy, cheesy, salty, cut into perfect thin little squares, and built for drinking beer (and wine). They cook quickly, and have brought us back from the dead more times than we’d like to admit.

Phinney Ridge is quickly becoming a pizza powerhouse, with the legendary Wednesday Pizza Nights next door at Ben’s Bread Co. , Lupo and Windy City Pie just down the street and our friends at STEVIE’S FAMOUS recently opening. It’s becoming a real pizza wonderland, and we’re here for it.

Let’s be clear: we are not a pizzeria. We know how much work goes into mastering a great pie, and we’re leaving that to the Sam. We’re just stoked to serve some great pizza when you need it, along side our beer, wine and other beverages.

Party Favor Pizza will be available every day...BUT..you should absolutely go over to Ben’s Bread on Wednesday and grab one of their amazing pizzas while they last. Outside food is always welcome in our space, let’s continue to support our local neighborhood spots.

Starting today and through Wednesday (8/3-8/5), both our Interbay brewery & taproom and our Phinney taproom will be accepting donations to bring out to Spokane.

Spokane needs our help right now as they are experiencing one of the most destructive fires in Washington State’s history. Everyone here at Holy Mountain is on board to help however we can and we’re asking you to do what you can to help out our fellow Washingtonians with us. We are a stronger community when we work together.
Many local breweries are making their way out to Spokane and the Palouse for this weekend’s Grainmaker festival and we all want to come together to help bring aid to the families and folks that are in need.

Here are some goods that have been requested:

Wet or dry cat, kitten, dog & puppy food
Non perishable food
Canned goods
Hygiene products, toiletries & other household essentials

If you drop off items at either of our taprooms, we will bring them to Stoup Brewing in Ballard and Robyn will make sure to load it up and bring it out Thursday morning.

If you can’t make it to either of our taprooms, check the Washington Beer Blog to see other participating breweries that will bring your donations to Stoup in time or bring the items themselves to Spokane. We’ve put a link to the blog in our bio

*If you are on your phone you can screenshot the second slide flyer and hold down the QR codes on the photo in your camera roll to access the websites for monetary donations.*

To fellow brewery folks, if you would like to be a drop off point, email [email protected] or [email protected].

We have two new saisons on deck this week and the first is a really beautiful blend from a collection of oak aged saisons with a focus on fermentation maturity and texture. Vessels of Wrath combines threads of beers made with a dense application of malted Spelt, classic European aroma hops, and a house mixed culture. After blending Vessels of Wrath was conditioned and naturally carbonated on the can/keg. In the glass, expect deep stone fruit character alongisde dried mango skin and limequat acidity, a nice round palate with a delicate oak finish.

Cans and draught are available in both taprooms with 4-packs also available in the online store for shipping within WA State.

Also, if you order a full case we’ll cover the shipping for you.

Today at Interbay we have brought up some bottles of THE FALL OF TIME for on-prem consumption!

The Fall of Time is a barleywine aged in three different sets of barrels. First, in Kentucky wheated bourbon barrels, secondly in Kentucky straight rye whiskey barrels, and finally finished in American apple brandy barrels that had previously held bourbon for a total aging time of 26 months.

We also have 2 draft specials TODAY ONLY AT BOTH LOCATIONS! We have $6.50 Lukr pours and $5.50 pours of HOLY LIGHT, our American Premium Lager.

We’ll have the USA vs Belgium World Cup game on the projector at Interbay with the sound on at 5pm sharp.
⚽️
If you’re one of the dozen folks in town not trying to watch the game today, we’ve got our draft specials and heavy metal at Phinney. 🤘

See you soon.
