🚨Firefighters expect to fight fires… Not be fired upon!
They responded to do what they always do: protect others. Instead, these Idaho firefighters suddenly found themselves in the line of fire.
Even after being shot, one firefighter fought to stay alive long enough to alert law enforcement to the ambush, helping warn those responding to the scene.
It’s a chilling reminder that our first responders never truly know what they’re walking into when the call comes.
We honor the firefighters who lost their lives, the one who fought to survive, and every first responder who answers the call regardless of what may be waiting on the other side. 🇺🇸🚒
