Handblown glass decanters are the perfect match for the craft, care, and beauty that go into every bottle of Adonna W**es. This is the Adonna W**es custom barrel process. 🌟

While Donna and Ashley were in France, they visited Tonnellerie Fouailly and artisanal cooperage Ladoix-Serrigny, Burgundy, France, run by master craftsman Jérôme Fouailly.

As they barrel tasted Pinot Noir aged in Fouailly barrels, they finalized their toast level selection and their barrel: the Harlequin, which is alternating staves of Acacia and French Oak.

The barrels have now arrived in Sonoma, and we are thrilled to use them for our 2026 White Pinot Noir vintage.

This past month, Donna was honored to pour Adonna W**es at W**esong, joining w**eries, local businesses, and community members in support of healthcare on the Mendocino Coast.

For 41 years, W**esong has raised funds for the Mendocino Coast Healthcare Foundation, helping sustain and strengthen healthcare in a rural community where access to local resources is especially important.

At the heart of Adonna is Ichigo Ichie—the idea that each gathering is singular and worth being present for. It’s a perspective that makes opportunities to gather in support of something important all the more meaningful.

We were grateful to take part and contribute to the work of the Mendocino Coast Healthcare Foundation. Thank you to W**esong, the Foundation, and everyone who made this year’s event possible.

Our friends at Food & W**e got the first look. Here's your first glimpse at the brand-new Adonna tasting room.

We’re thrilled to be named one of seven w**ery tasting rooms to visit next, with something brand new at Canfield Vineyard that's yet to open.

For us, a tasting room was never going to be simply a place to pour w**e. Ichigo Ichie, “one time, one meeting,” has guided Donna’s vision from the beginning. Soon, we’ll have a place in Sebastopol designed to put that philosophy into practice and welcome people into the world of Adonna.

Every year, harvest reminds us of the Japanese philosophy—Ichigo Ichie (一期一会). A translation that means “one time, one meeting.”

Ichigo Ichie is a quiet call to presence and the truth that a shared moment can never be repeated. Harvest is the culmination of a year's work created through terroir, climate, and careful hands. As the 2026 harvest comes to a close, we are grateful for the beauty of this fleeting moment.
