Writing and publishing a book of this size was a massive undertaking which consumed 4 years of my life. I’m so happy it’s out in the world now and I sincerely hope those of you who have the book in hand are finding useful, inspiring, and tangible information to support your regeneration, reciprocation, and restoration of our collective planet. This year my book won a prestigious Gold Nautilus Award which was amazing! Thank you Nautilus Book Awards !

To honor and celebrate this release, we are hosting the premiere at the Occidental Arts and Ecology Center (), a beautiful venue and sustainable living community.⁠

💧Water is sacred, water is life! Come out to majestic Sonoma County for a long weekend intensive training on water with and master permaculture designer, Erik Ohlsen, organized by . We'll practice hands-on stream restoration and erosion control in a framework that honors water as the sacred, life-giving force it is.
Together we’ll learn to read the rhythm and pulse of flowing water, as we study the onsite water systems, storage, ponds, roof catchment and drip irrigation.
You'll acquire tools for healing disturbed and incised stream beds and hillside erosion, and build small rock dams, brush dams, and beaver-dam analogs while doing fuel reduction and fire mitigation in the woods.
You are welcome to camp at Starhawk’s ranch, and we’ll nourish you with three delicious meals a day, doing our best to accommodate your dietary needs.
We’ll start each day with ritual, and work and play together throughout the day with time for just being in a beautiful natural setting. In the evenings, we'll share stories, songs and water ceremonies.

There is an incredible Regenerative Grazing workshop happening at the Bell Valley Retreat Center in Boonville, Ca in a couple weeks.
The land is diverse and beautiful, the facilities impeccable, and this will be a focused workshop on stewarding grasslands by the regenerative movement of animals through a high fire danger property to build soil, manage fire fuel loads, and create increased water holding capacity. Taught by grazing superstars Ruthie King and Richard King-- if you are managing land and worried about fire season and fuel load this workshop could be a perfect fit.

Fire season is just around the corner, and managed grazing offers an elegant system for fortifying resilience to wildfires and building greater soil health.
