The 2022 Volnay was a highlight of our team tasting last week. It's graceful and full of energy, with dried cherry, raspberry and cranberry, a little cocoa nib, and silky tannins. It's the kind of w**e that keeps a table talking.

The same vintage gave us something we'd never made before. The 2022 Volnay Premier Cru Frémiets is our first single-vineyard w**e from Burgundy. It's fuller and juicier than the village w**e, with finer tannins and a weight that fills the palate.

We bottled just 100 cases, available by Wish only during our Burgundy Release.

Today is the final day to explore our Burgundy Release featuring the 2024 Burgundy Series and select library vintages like our 2022 Volnay Premier Cru Frémiets.

Our first trip across the Atlantic was just the beginning. Julien travels to Burgundy throughout the year, every year. This part of Kosta Browne is inherent to who we are: an ethos, in the vineyards and the cellar, that marries Burgundian obsession with our California soul.

With each season come new relationships and a deeper belonging among growers and vignerons who didn't know us once, and who now set fruit aside.
