W**e Spectator just awarded our newly released Don’s Block 93 points!

Don’s Block is named for Don Blackburn, Emeritus’s founding w**emaker. This is the coldest block at Hallberg Ranch. It gently slopes to the south and is planted entirely to Clone 115. We feel this block best embodies the Pinot Noir Don loved. The cold, slow ripening, combined with the aggressive thinning we practice across all our single-block w**es, gives this w**e the elegance and charm Don prized in Pinot Noir.
