Thanks for your robust replies to our post re: open studio spaces for lease! We’re excited to announce that our three smaller art studios have been filled by three amazing local artists ( ). Now to fill some bigger workshop spaces!

The Classroom, 1,500sqft is available for shared use or rental in its entirety starting July 1st. Insulated walls, mini-split, skylights, in the heart of The East Mill, surrounded by farm pick ups and youth nature programs. The space has previously been a folk school, cotton clothing company, and most recently a woodshop.

This just in: the West Mill Warehouse is coming available July 1st! This one doesn’t turn over often. 4,000sqft of maker space with insulated walls, high ceilings and three phase power. A cabinet shop is on its way out, so we’re looking for 3 more folks to lease out approx 1,000sqft each, to share the space with the amazing sculpturist who will also be moving in as of July 1st.

So grateful to work with the epic and kind crew .forward this past week to bring beneficial fire to the land here . Together we brought low and slow fire through eight acres of mixed hardwood forest to reduce fuel loads and regenerate the forest ecology. It was awe-inspiring to have over 50 people on the land, including local agencies, making sure surrounding lands were safe, appropriate water lines were laid, volunteers were fed, and that fire was carried through the land in a good way. Thanks so much to all of you who participated! And thanks to our neighbors for trusting the process.

Artist Studio for lease at Green Valley Farm + Mill. Located on the south end of our East Mill, a semi-industrial zone home to CSA pick ups, farm store, nature school, woodworking studios and more! Join our collective land project on 172 acres in West County.

Thank you from all of us on the farm, to all of you who have donated to our GoFundMe campaign, purchased tickets for the Benefit Show this Saturday, or supported the farm in your own special way. We are forever grateful.

On this Giving Tuesday, we hope you’ll consider helping us raise funds to repay one of our very generous founding lenders, who helped us get started almost ten years ago. Your contribution will go towards creating a stable foundation for this collective land project for generations to come.

We welcome Gillian Grogan back to the barn this coming Saturday night!

Gillian Grogan is a vocalist, guitarist, songwriter and van-dweller with roots in Sonoma County. Grogan has woven bits of folk, indie, rock, and nature itself into a sonic landscape “unlike anything else you’ve heard in ‘folk’ music today” (Ear To The Ground). NPR Music’s Felix Contreras calls her songwriting “six strings and the truth.”

She calls it “full-bodied folk.”
