As many of you know, we have had the misfortune of having our tasting room in the Barlow completely devastated by the recent floods. We sell nearly 80% of our wine through our tasting room. While we are going to do everything we can to re-open as soon as possible, the financial toll is looking to be enormous. We are still working on quantifying, but to start, we lost nearly $30k worth of inventory - which includes nearly our entire library.
We are so thankful to our amazing staff, friends and family for the help. We are in a position where we have no choice but to ask for your support as well. We are selling 130 Magnums, numbered and signed by the whole crew, of 2017 “Hi-Jack” Pinot Noir, which was meant to commemorate our son's birth year. We can’t think of a better way to use this very special wine. It is half a barrel each of our two most prized Pinot sites - Terra de Promissio and UV Lancel Creek - given an additional year in barrel. We are selling this as a Future offering for a limited time, priced at $85/1.5L magnum (the wine will be ready for pickup in July '19). https://www.friedemanwines.com/Wines
We believe this is the finest Pinot we have ever produced, and we are hoping that we can use this extremely rare bottling to keep our staff paid until we can re-open and begin to replace what we lost. Please spread the word to any fellow Pinot lovers! Thank you in advance for your support. We look forward to hosting you all again soon.
