- Hello All…

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported us and contributed to the GoFundMe, shared the post, reached out, stopped over, or even wrote us a letter. We are truly beyond blessed to be part of such an incredible and caring community. The love, kindness, and generosity shown to our family means more than we can ever express.

We are currently working through the insurance process and hope to have more answers following our meeting today. The damage is extensive, and once the adjuster’s report is complete, can take up to two weeks, we will have a clearer understanding of the plan moving forward. Cross everything you have!

We miss seeing everyone every day and cannot wait to begin getting things moving again. Thank you all for standing by us during this difficult time — your support is lifting us up more than you know. 💔❤️

As I lay here, having another sleepless night…. Wishing my alarm was set to be headed to the diner to start that first pot of coffee… waiting for our morning guys to be pulling in not long after the doors open, for the smell of muffins cooking in the back. Making sure we have enough home fries ready for the 8’olcock Saturday rush to come through the door. To know our people and the days and times they would come.. and many would call if they didn’t come as they knew we would worry… how people started as customers and quickly became family. How I can hear Mike sing- you can get anything you want at Allison’s restaurant. It makes tears run down my face, but a huge smile at the same time… to see the cars pull in and I can rattle off their order… I so badly want to say “getting your usual” or find out how your fishing trip went… or to be celebrating your good news.

It’s hard to even step outside with the constant reminder right in your face of our world being upside down. We are overwhelmed with the support, like we can’t even imagine…. We miss you all… we want to be working, we want to love our people….

I guess all this to say… simply we are missing you… we cannot wait to be back to normal…. It’s so much more than just a store… it’s a gathering place that feels like home…

Thank you all so very much… you will never truly know what an impact you have on us and how much it means…

And here I thought writing about us being out of pizza was hard…. This one is even harder… as many of you know or heard…. Our beloved store had an electric fire in the ice room early this morning. We are in shock… completely devastated and lost at this moment….

We want to thank each and every one of you that stopped to help, the firemen/woman that were here, offered condolences, texts, calls, meals, ect. Even helping us get water…. It means so much…. Even sharing a laugh when you saw me late into the afternoon still wearing my apron ready for work… ready to see you all.. ready to cook you the same fabulous meals we have cooked all along…😭😭

I have never had such a scary moment of feeing helpless…. We have worked hard, loved the community, and shared so many special times with you all….

For now… it’s hopefully a short pause to get on our feet again…. We are hoping once we are cleared for power we will be able to get a food truck in there and at least be cooking for you all again until we can be back in a building… (more details to come with that as we sort thing out and figure a way to power it)

We are so blessed to have a community like ours and know that you are hurting along side us! We want to be open just as bad as you want us open. We are safe and thank you all… 😭😭💔

We had honey back in stock! Nightengales milk is nice and cold in the fridge! I have blueberry and chocolate chip muffins baking! Cookies will be up next when there is a spare second!

Not sure about you but after these beautiful days I’m over these snow forecasts! 🤪

We are open and serving normal hours- reminder on Mondays we only serve breakfast and lunch 5-1 store is open all day! Sandwiches and pizza are available for you in the afternoon from the cooler/warmer! (All other days of the week we serve open to close!)

Okay… so hard to write… as an owner it’s so hard to judge how much to prepare for food…. We judge off of time of the year, past years, and events going in the area… we thought we over prepared for this weekend with pizza doughs…. But to our surprise it has been a wild and crazy pizza day and we are currently trying to defrost more doughs as fast as we can…. We hate to say we can’t do something, or the comments we get when we have to say I’m sorry but we legitimately are so sorry and feel bad but we are trying… we want to thank you all so very much for all the orders today… some very large pizza orders! We have a ton of everything else to offer tonight but pizza is on pause for the moment….

Again. So sorry for the inconvenience we apologize and hope to make you something else this evening….
