It’s been a challenge to come up with the words about Illinois State Fair. We still feel on cloud 9, but I gotta brag on our family. No one more deserving and understanding to trust the process, take the bumps of showpigs, and keep hammering. To say I’m proud is an understatement. Thank you to everyone that stopped to congratulated us, the texts, calls, and high fives — everything was heartfelt and appreciated more than anyone knows.

We have been quiet on social media this summer and will be catching up on highlighting some incredible families and their wins. For now, still soaking in the moment.

County fair week🍀

This week is the result of months of hard work—not just in the show ring, but in the barn. Early mornings, late nights, clipping, feeding, washing, and countless hours of care all lead to this moment.

We're grateful to play a small part in helping get these projects show-ring ready, but the real credit belongs to the exhibitors. 4-H teaches responsibility, dedication, perseverance, and pride in a job well done—lessons that last far beyond fair week.

To all of our Blue Mountain Livestock families and every 4-H exhibitor heading to the fair this week: enjoy every moment, cheer each other on, and remember that the greatest accomplishment isn't always the banner—it's the character built along the journey.

Good luck this week! We can't wait to watch your hard work pay off.

Congratulations to Emma Gillette on her 8th Overall finish in Junior Showmanship at the Team Purebred National Junior Show!

We're incredibly proud of Emma and the hard work she puts in day after day. As parents, having a young lady like Emma for our three girls to look up to means the world to us.

The show ring may be where memories are made, but so much of the story starts long before show day.

It starts with early mornings, late nights, countless hours in the barn, and dads who are always willing to lend a hand, teach a lesson, or offer encouragement when it's needed most.

Today, we celebrate the dads who help shape not only great projects, but great kids.

Happy Father's Day to all the dads who are their kids' biggest fans.

Happy Mother’s Day to the women who make it all possible.

The early mornings, the late nights, the hard work behind the scenes, the encouragement after the tough days, and the love that never wavers — none of it goes unnoticed.

Today we celebrate the moms, grandmas, and mother figures who help raise not only great livestock, but great kids too. Thank you for every sacrifice, every mile traveled, and every moment spent supporting the next generation.

First jackpot of many this summer is in the books for our crew—and it was a good one. We kicked things off in Wyoming, IL at the 007 Skyfall Showdown, Another Round, BHE Aggie Extravaganza, and Jim Bloomberg Memorial. Excited for what’s ahead and proud to watch the continued hard work our customers are putting in day in and day out.

Florida showing up again! 🔥

Ally and Huck were named 3rd Overall at the Lake County Fair — and to make it even better, this was Ally’s first year showing pigs. We couldn’t be more excited for her and can’t wait to see everything she accomplishes in the ring!
