Harvesting red potatoes! I’ve never had any luck growing potatoes before, and there were lots more in the bed where these came from. Very excited to try them with some of our fresh peppers and onions.

Moving our big sows to new pastures! Grateful for tame animals that will walk with you and happily follow the feed bucket.
We wanted to get them in an area with more natural shade where they can help clean up some of the bushes and grasses under the trees.

I have been slacking on posts for the last couple weeks!
Between my youngest graduating high school, vacation, my oldest graduating from her EMT program and all the projects that warm weather brings to the farm, it has been so busy!
We do have a couple of kittens that we would like to move to a different farm. The mom is a great mouser, she showed up here while pregnant and we started feeding her. There are four kittens, two Tabbie’s and two striped. I am not sure if they are boys are girls honestly.
I am going to keep the momma cat and get her fixed if she will stick around, but my dogs are not big fans of cats so I can’t keep this many.
