Thankfully baby 🐮 waited until the rains stopped before joining the herd. Our final baby for 2026 and it's a GIRL! Three girls and one boy born this year! While milking this morning, all the other mamas had to stop and say hello. It was a little loud in the loafing shed. 😄 Now baby is walking with mama while she grazes on the grasses that have greened up from the rain and soaking up this glorious sunshine! Thank you to everyone who came out and saw us at Orie’s Garlic Fest! The top favorites were our garlic pull apart bread, black garlic caramel brownies, and our vampire slayer pickles! If you can't get enough of our garlicky lemonades and limeades, check our online store soon for half gallon jugs you can enjoy at home! We re-stocked the farm store with salsa, garlicky (and non-garlicky) ice creams, granola, pancake mixes, and new pizza crust kits. A huge shout out to our kids who helped bake, package, load, and serve at the fest. We couldn't do it without them! Now let the recovery time begin...slower days, naps, and early bedtimes. Your farmers are very tired! 😄 Thanks again ICT for supporting nearly 70 vendors and shopping local!

Orie’s Garlic Fest prep is in full swing and it's all hands on deck! The girls and I are busy in the commercial kitchen making black garlic caramel brownies, black garlic pudding cups, salsa, and homemade chocolate candies. The boys are cutting lemons and limes and organizing market supplies. Brad has been churning oodles of ice cream, making relish, and running all the errands for needed supplies! A lot left to do in the next 48 hours, but we can't wait to see you all on Sunday at the Old Town Plaza from 11-3pm!

They've released the map for Orie’s Garlic Fest! We'll be located on the east side if the plaza towards the north end ( #36)! We are bringing a full line up of garlicky favorites and a couple new items. Be sure to stop by for one of our award winning fresh squeezed garlic lemonades or limeades!

Fresh picked seeded watermelons 🍉🍉🍉 Organically grown, never sprayed with pesticides or herbicides! We also have lots of cantaloupes in the farm store to choose from. Make a drive out on this beautiful, sunny Sunday 😊

KWCH 12 News came out to the farm today and did a quick interview about purchasing local produce with the recent parasite outbreak. I'm always a little awkward during interviews, but hopefully we reached potential new customers this week! And as always, support our local restaurants who help support us! As Cyclospora continues to cause people to fear some produce, one local farm says they’ve seen an uptick in sales over the past week.

July is almost over. How that can be I'm not sure. Its been a blur of planting, harvesting, birthday celebrations, and lots of sweating. Bring on August!

We haven't had a chance to send a newsletter today because we've been hustling to get our garlic picked before it rains again. Overall a decent harvest for us! The veggies from the hail storm are doing remarkably well and look to be thriving.

Today is the cutoff for ordering for this week's delivery. Veggies available are kohlrabi, kale, k**b onions, fennel, herbs, sprouting broccoli, rainbow chard, carrots, and much more. Don't want to pick out the veggies, quickly select a small or large assorted bag and well take the work off your hands.

Small Assorted: carrots, k**b onions, chives, celery, and cucumbers.

Large Assorted: carrots, kohlrabi, celery, k**b onions, chives, basil, kale, and turnips.
