KWCH 12 News came out to the farm today and did a quick interview about purchasing local produce with the recent parasite outbreak. I'm always a little awkward during interviews, but hopefully we reached potential new customers this week! And as always, support our local restaurants who help support us! July is almost over. How that can be I'm not sure. Its been a blur of planting, harvesting, birthday celebrations, and lots of sweating. Bring on August!

Tomatoes are available at the farm store st the end of our drive!!! We have several pounds of slicers ready and a few pints of cherry tomatoes. We are also stocked with raw, grass-fed milk, cucumbers, celery, herbs, and onions in the fridge. Our freezer has bierocks, pancake mixes, and single scoops of ice cream. Make shopping local part of your weekend plans!!!

Farm kids doing farm stuff! Our round baler needs a repair, so the trusty square baler to the rescue to make sure we got the hay up before it rains. I'm one proud mama! This mornings 70s and cloudy weather was much nicer than yesterdays 90s+ to finish the job. Happy 4th of July! 🎆🎆🎆

We haven't had a chance to send a newsletter today because we've been hustling to get our garlic picked before it rains again. Overall a decent harvest for us! The veggies from the hail storm are doing remarkably well and look to be thriving.

Today is the cutoff for ordering for this week's delivery. Veggies available are kohlrabi, kale, k**b onions, fennel, herbs, sprouting broccoli, rainbow chard, carrots, and much more. Don't want to pick out the veggies, quickly select a small or large assorted bag and well take the work off your hands.

Small Assorted: carrots, k**b onions, chives, celery, and cucumbers.

Large Assorted: carrots, kohlrabi, celery, k**b onions, chives, basil, kale, and turnips.

Absolutely devastated tonight. 😭😭😭 Quarter to ping pong ball sized hail hit the farm tonight for close to 10 minutes. There is a lot of damage. Some may bounce back, but a lot of crops are most likely a total loss. Tomorrow we will access the damage in daylight and salvage what we can. Some stuff can be reseeded, but it will set us back for a while. It just crushed me to see the damage tonight because we have worked so hard this season and the farm looked it's absolute best ever. The kids have busted their tails off this spring and it just sucks that this happened. We had the same thing happen almost exactly 10 years ago. A farmers worst nightmare is hail. Please keep our farm in your prayers.
