The boys wanted kisses today, but I had to politely decline. 😬 It is getting stinky around here as breeding season approaches!

We had a fabulous week at the open class portion of the Evergreen State Fair! We brought ten Nubians to this ADGA sanctioned show and spent four nights at the fairgrounds. Some highlights include:

—1st place 4 year old, My-Enchanted-Acres RollTheDice
—4th place March doeling (out of 13 entries), Tangled-Willow Red Juliette
—5th place March doeling, Tangled-Willow Pay the Piper
—4th place dry yearling, Tangled-Willow Sweet Layla
—5th place dry yearling, My-Enchanted-Acres LA Daphne
—3rd place 2 year old (out of 14 entries), My-Enchanted-Acres LovinLenore
—5th place 2 year old, My-Enchanted-Acres SmokeNDice
—2nd place dam and daughter
—2nd place dam, daughter, granddaughter
—3rd place Junior Breeder Trio
—3rd place Dairy Herd
—4th and 5th place Best Udder

It was so much fun getting to spend time with our lovely goat friends. We are feeling energized for the next show season!

(SOLD) We have two Nubian doe kids looking for a new farm. Both were bottle raised and very friendly. Will make excellent milkers.

The belted doeling (first photo) is available with or without ADGA papers and would make an excellent 4-H project or show prospect.

The darker roan doe kid (3rd and 4th photos) will be sold without papers and is priced accordingly. Her dam produced over 14 pounds of milk a day at peak production. She will be a big, milky girl.

Clean tested herd, Sedro Woolley. PM for more information.

We spent the weekend at the Udder Spectacular at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds. Our daughter earned Champion Intermediate showmanship on Friday night and I couldn’t be more proud of how far she has come. She did an amazing job showing goats all weekend, both her own and for other people.

Tangled-Willow Sweet Layla, our first homegrown Nubian to compete in the show ring, earned 2nd place in a competitive class of 15 yearlings.

My-Enchanted-Acres LovinLenore placed 5th in a competitive class of 16 two-year-olds.

My-Enchanted-Acres RollTheDice placed first in her class of 4 year olds. Our daughter did an amazing job showing her and they make a great team.

It was wonderful to see all of our goat friends and a HUGE thank you to our dear friend and mentor, Kim Puzio, for all the help and for always cheering us on. 💗
