CHOW stands for "Cutting Hunger on the Weekends," and even though school is almost out, this program will continue serving youth across Skagit County through the summer.

Thanks to the students from Jefferson Elementary for packing hundreds of bags this week! Your hard work is appreciated!

Thank you to the students from Jefferson Elementary!

Not only did these students grow flower basket, sell those baskets, AND donate that money to Helping Hands. They also came out to donate their time - packing bags for local students and sorting through apples for distribution. Thank you all for your hard work!

We were on the news! While it's not everyday we get to chat with the lovely people from FOX 13 Seattle , you can help us make an impact in Skagit County everyday.

Helping Hands Food Bank helps Skagit County famlies by providing food, and has support services to help people connect with other organizations.

Helping Hands is excited to announce that we’ve been selected to receive a Transportation Emissions Reduction Grant through Puget Sound Energy.

This grant is funded through the Washington State Department of Ecology’s Clean Fuel Standard, which supports local, community-centered projects that reduce transportation-related emissions.

With the addition of these two vehicles, our outreach will be stronger than ever. Stay tuned!

Thank you to everyone who brought donations to todays event! We collected 271 pounds of food that will go directly toward feeding our local community.

Thank you to everyone who came out despite the chilly weather, thank you to FOX 13 Seattle for inviting us to be a part of such a great event, and thanks to Burlington Chamber of Commerce and Burlington Parks & Recreation for hosting!
