This grove has become a favorite hangout for our chickens, wild birds, and guests alike. The birdsong in here is incredible. 🐦

🌿 First time processing bamboo shoots!

We like to keep the paths clear in our little bamboo forest, which means occasionally stepping on what we lovingly call "death spikes."

This time, we peeled, chopped, boiled, and brined the shoots to preserve them for later.

Looking forward to seeing how they turn out. 🌱

Went for a short walk along the creek bed the other day and the salmonberries are absolutely everywhere this year. Picked about 3 cups in no time — a nice mix of red and golden berries.

Turned them into a sour cream salmonberry crumble 🍓🍰

🌈 Q***r Campout Update 🌈

All regular campsites are officially FULL! 🎉

We still have:
✨ 3 overflow tent sites available near the community area

🚐 A very limited number of spots for camper vans, rooftop tents, and similar setups in the field

🛏️ Our studio apartments are also available for anyone who wants to join the fun but prefers a real bed, hot shower, and a little extra comfort

As always, we intentionally keep Q***r Campout small and cozy. We love creating space for genuine connection without overwhelming the farm or the people who gather here.

Working on a new little spot along the path 🌿

We’ve been clearing dead branches and cleaning up the forest floor under this nice shady tree canopy to make a hangout area.

For now we’re testing it out with a hammock and seeing how the space feels, but it could eventually become another campsite. 👀
