Looking like I'll have at least a few grapes for the Sedro-Woolley Farmers Market this Wednesday. These are the same small, tart, seeded grapes I've been bringing for a few years now. If you like a grape PACKED with flavor, these are great! Technically a Pinot Noir wine grape, they're great for sauces and syrups, juice or jelly, or even fresh if you like things tart.

I will only have a few this week, but should have many more over the next few weeks!

Opened early today!

Lots of produce in the stand today and I'll *try* to get eggs up there this afternoon. There's also some bakery treats in the case from Mama's Oven! And of course your favorite Bruce Bowen Bees honey!

Days are getting shorter, but that's why we choose to stay open "until dark" rather than until a specific time. We open at 9:30am every day, but I do open earlier when I can - including at 7:30am on Saturdays until my markets are over in mid October.

Whether you need hops for making beer, tinctures, etc - now's the time!!

I believe these are Cascade variety.

I have no idea how much is here but it's about a 15 to 20ft row and it's LOADED on both sides.

I can pick or you can pick (will be cheaper if you pick, obviously)

I believe they're ready now, though I'm no hops expert. Message me if you're interested!

Located just north of Sedro Woolley or I can bring them to the Mount Vernon Farmers Market or the Sedro-Woolley Farmers Market with advance notice.

I'm pretty sure it's from the backcrossed olive egger hen, from the dance batch of chicks as my two young roosters. Which would make sense because this was exactly what I was hoping to get from mixing an olive layer with a dark egg roo.

Can't wait to see what the rest of these kids produce and keep adding new colors to your egg basket!!

Dye-free folks... You'll wanna read this too!!

First, LOOK at these toasted marshmallows!!! 😍😍😍 I dont know why I never did regular ones before - always just did minis and they like to over-puff. But these are AMAZING!!

ALSO... I finally found a marshmallow that doesn't contain blue dye. So moving forward, many of our freeze dried marshmallow candies will be dye free. Including these toasted marshmallows! I also did marshmallow dipped in Giggles dust, for another dye free fruity option.

Find them both tomorrow at the Sedro-Woolley Farmers Market from 3-7pm!!!!!

If you have a favorite dye free candy, talk to me about it!! I want to add more dye free options but these candies are just too expensive to experiment with.

Cracks me up how different hens are with their parenting.

While Floof basically abandoned her kids at like 3 weeks old, here Lacey is still hanging out with hers 24/7 at almost 9 weeks old. 😳 You're gonna have to let them go at some point mama.

I'm pretty sure she's just avoiding the roosters' attention at this point. 🤣🤣🤣
