Summer break is upon us!

Hello everyone,

We have been enjoying this spring’s abundant rain after so long in a drought, though technically, we are still in a drought. But the flowers are blooming happily and the bees are benefiting from the rain and blooms as we watch them busily flying in and out and putting honey and pollen into the supers.

Besides bees, we have been busy with life in and out of the shop. We continue to supply many with our beeswax - from beekeepers and makers of body care products to fellow candle makers and artists, wood and leather crafters.

This year, we plan to take a summer break so Tuesday, June 30, 2026 will be the last day we are open to the public. The online shop will remain up and running for shipping. During our summer break, you can text us to set an appointment if you want to check inventory or come pick up products here in Seguin. Text us at 830-463-6191.

Until June 30, we are open all regular business hours.

The scheduled Bread Talk sessions will not change for June but there will be a summer break for those as well. We will make a decision about a fall schedule and share it out in our usual outlets (newsletter, social media platforms). Former and current students are welcome to continue asking questions.

Flower pressing classes are scheduled for June and throughout the summer. Private parties are also welcomed to book (just text us). We aren’t giving up our creative endeavors, simply restructuring our time and works. We hope to see you in a class!

We are excited to move into a summer season of adventures and we hope you’ll stick around with us and follow along. We have enjoyed sharing our beeventures with you the past 15 years and your support has been and will remain one of our greatest blessings. We don’t know what future plans look like fully, but for now, there are still bees to tend, flower projects to continue, seminary to pick back up…lots of living to do! ��Enjoy your summer and we will keep in touch via the newsletter and online!

Not new but I rarely have time to play with silica and flower drying. But I may start more soon. I enjoyed making my little dried flowers arrangement last week and I want to make a yellow filled arrangement now. 🌻😍

A bit of cleanup in between customers. 🙌🏼 the recent rains and storms have brought down a lot of little and medium branches and limbs.

Thankful we did not have a tornado on us last night. We got over an inch of rain out of it and very little wind debris, surprisingly.

Took brother to check out his weekly fishing spot. The water was very high, almost to the sidewalk he uses as camp.

Good morning! I just unwrapped the last batch of our handmade from our dear friend Ann Sciba. We love how each pot is unique and there are no two identical match. Fun!

We are open as usual until noon today. 🐝

What a blessing to be surrounded by pretty little bits of nature, even indoors. I love my workspace. I hope one day, we’ll have enough space in our home for me to carve out a special place for my creative endeavors. I’ll need to narrow down all my interests I think. 😛
