We specialize in producing craveworthy holsteiners! Our foals are registered with the American Holsteiner Horse Association and boast top German Holsteiner bloodlines. Our broodmares are excellent producers – year after year our foals are awarded premium status for the two AHHA foal measures of conformation and movement. All horses live in pastures with a small group of companions to facilitate me

ntal and physical health. Our farm has sandy footing, great for healthy hoof development and bare feet. All horses have access to run-in sheds. Stalls or covered pens are available as well. Seguin Sporthorses has over 14 years experience with breeding and raising well-socialized holsteiner foals, suitable for hunter/jumper, dressage, or eventing. Your future is in holsteiners!

My favorite young horse training task is first saddling. Here is Orchid SSH, a long yearling filly. I carried the saddle to her (she wasn't even interested enough to sniff it), placed the pad, saddle, and girth all with no fuss, nervousness, or fear. Took about 2 minutes. Here she is showing how concerned she is. And posing for me at the end. I like to show them these facts of life early. She won't be started for at least another year, but she won't be worried about tack when the time comes.

Looking for a local (central/south Texas) tax exempt equine rescue our therapy program to donate my horse stuff to. I will not piece it out - it’s all or nothing. The recipient should be prepared to sell what they don’t need. It includes 30 turnouts-sizes 63 to 87, bridles, dressage pads, polos and other boots, leather halters, German silver snaffle bits, etc. Full list available. PM me if you know of someone.
